Liberty

Transit service to the Lloyd District and the central city is continually improving.  A couple of years ago we saw the opening of Interstate MAX (yellow line) and in the coming years Interstate 205 -- Clackamas (green line) will open, providing shorter headways (i.e., increased train frequencies) for commuters already using Eastside MAX. I-205/Portland Mall light rail will also be added to the downtown transit mall along 5th and 6th Avenues, which should help eliminate train-to-bus transfers moving north/south through the downtown.

 Trip Planning

Don’t know how to get around? Plan your next TriMet trip online or call (503) 238-RIDE for more information on riding MAX or the bus. You can visit Tri-Met's web site at www.trimet.org.

Transit Tracker -- 'Real-Time' Bus Arrival Times

Want to know when you bus will arrive at your specific stop with pin-point accuracy?   Visit TriMet's online Transit Tracker program.   This way, you won't have rush out to your stop and watch the bus just pull away; so grab that cup of coffee or newspaper and know that you'll be at your stop in plenty of time to catch the next bus.   It's nice knowing.

Transit Board -- What's the Quickest Way?

Transit Board is a service from Portland Transport that shows you a number of transit options in the direction you're headed on one page, using TriMet's real-time data. Pick where you're headed and see your options. And it refreshes automatically.
